The MATHAMSUD240026<\/strong> is a collaborative research project between researchers from Brazil, Chile, France and Per\u00fa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This project aims to develop an extensive joint research program focused on the concept of\u202c \u202dexpansivity in dynamical systems. This program encompasses multiple lines of research, including\u202c \u202dthe expansivity of discrete groups (such as\u202c \u202dor\u202c\u202d), of flows and their geometry, and actions of\u202c \u202dgeneral groups. We aim to explore and develop applications in the study of topological dynamics,\u202c \u202dtheoretical computer science and combinatorics, thermodynamic formalism and number theory.\u202c\u202d Additionally, a crucial goal is to establish a robust and interconnected research network for\u202c \u202ddynamical systems throughout Latin America, promoting new collaborations across Latin\u202c \u202dAmerican institutions, while simultaneously strengthening collaborations with France. This\u202c \u202dnetwork will foster exchange opportunities for PhD students, Master’s students, postdocs, and\u202c \u202dearly-career researchers, developing research lines and long-term collaborations among the group\u202c \u202dmembers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
